I think this one should go back to something like promoting a sustainable campus. Sustainability encompasses environmental stewardship, but goes even further.
We could use the following model to help us with measures for this priority:http://www.greenreportcard.org/report-card-2010/indicators
How about "To promote and model sustainability and environmental stewardship."
I am still not sure we want to use the word "sustainability" - do we envision growing our own food on campus to make in the cafeteria?
